NAIL TECHNOLOGY
The State of New Mexico requires 400 hours of Nail Technology training and testing for graduation. The Nail Technology program is designed to teach students the art and science of beautifying the nails, hands, and feet, giving a proper massage, and using safety precautions and sanitation methods in manicuring, pedicuring, and extending the nails. Techniques will be learned in identifying nail diseases, the basic types of artificial nails, and nail extensions. Upon satisfactory completion of the Manicurist / Pedicurist program, the graduate will receive a Diploma.
Nail Technology Program – Occupational Objectives:
